Ex-g/f or missed opp?

I DO have a wife. But I don't have kids (because my partner and I both don't agree with adding to the world population). I also don't have a cat (would love to live with one, but we move countries too often, so I'm limited to street cats instead). This is an old missed opp (or not?) that lingers. About a decade of feelings now, and I think that's long enough.

Why would you " resume" with a person u know is still apparently married, and with kids too.
Thats going to be a dead end road for you.
You should move on as well.
Treat yourself with the respect you deserve.
No one should be mislead or lied too and frankly honsety feels better.
