The idea behind it was never about it's entertainment value. It's just gone stale because the virus didn't turnout to be as bad as they initially thought it would be.

It's not that we don't care...we do...or that we've given up...we haven't...just that the daily ritual has come and gone. Now that we're seeing how this can go on for months, if not years, the reality has set in and who wants to bang pots every day for years? I'm surprised it went on this long.
