Last year

I was in a toxic work environment and felt hopeless. Being bullied to death and manipulated by ignoramuses nearly cost me a great deal of my mental health. The whole experience just sucked the life out of me. It seemed like there was no way out and I contemplated leaving months earlier, but held on because I tried to fight until the bitter end. It was a losing battle, definitely not a win win situation. So I did something that I never thought I would do. I straight up walked right out the door. Didn’t give any notice.

I've never quit a job and regretted it. Drink a pint tonight, or better yet, many pints.
Hung on too long

Got really sick. So not worth it. Took my mental health for granted and paid the price. You guys are smart. Best of luck.

Walked off a crazy stressful job when I was 18 and again at 24.
Never done that since, but I've been more careful about which jobs I go for.
Low stress threshhold.
Yeah.

Do what I did. I was being treated like shit by staff and managers at a restaurant. I couldn't take it anymore. I waited until it was really busy and I walked out the door and never returned. One of the best decisions that I ever made!

Jobs are easier to leave, than places to live are to leave in Vancouver.

"Health Care"
No sliding scales.
Costs
You need help, its avaiable to all.
Everyone pays alot of taxes.
Wheres the care?
So many people just left to the wayside.
Dieing inside and out.
Nobody seems to care.
Animals have better health insurance plans.
Not that I dont love animals.
But we are people.
We pay every damn day.
Good for you

Good for you! I also quit a job like this last year (although I did give notice). My mental and physical health has definitely improved since quitting. The irony is, I worked in health care!
