My birthday and Valentine’s Day fall about a week apart and it is a positively shitty hallway of time, emotionally speaking.

I don’t know which month is worse, November or February.

I buy stuff for family & friends
and me too (on the 15th when everything is half price).
Better than the usual in past relationships where the guy forgot or didn't want to "support capitalism".

One is the saddest experience that you'll ever know
Like watching a twister go by in a slow motion dream from the other side
Like feeling an avalanche roll over and bury you unaware
