Guess I'm Uncultured

I don't like any nuttiness in my beers. The minute a beer maker says that I'm going to get a taste of nuttiness from roasted nuts, I cringe. I like having them separate - nuts in a bowl on one hand and a beer in the other. No innuendo.

I am fine with Pabst Blue Ribbon 6 pack. I don't like it when people spend too much time thinking of ways for me to part with my money on anything.

Some of these "confessions" just blow my mind. So raw and personal. Stop! I can't handle any more candour!

Apparently you feel the need to try to impress us however. That’s much sadder than being someone who likes craft beer and is willing to pay for it by a long shot.

Your reply says you have inferiority complex or petty competitiveness. Spirit of my reply is I don't need unique beverages or anything above average I can just just buy with paper money to feel good about myself. They now call this minimalism but I also dont like cheap labels

Hahaha! Stick to engineering because you clearly don’t have much of a grasp of human psychology. I’m fully aware of what you intended to say. But the fact that you obviously think that your profession and where you attend school somehow means that your opinion and your behaviour should be more important than anyone else’s is the telling part. No one cares. This is a conversation about beer preferences, not about how to save money.

you have a point. My reply in part was response to OP mention of "cultured" but academia success does not automatically mean advanced cultured person. Respect
