Broken Thermostat

I have no chill whatsoever. It’s maddening. I wish that very little phased me, but most of it does. I mentally freeze up often and suddenly everything feels too warm. Speaking up becomes useless as my entire vocabulary decides to have a fire drill and vacate my mind. I wish I could be calm, collected. And I’m not.

Get a game plan. You know it happens so prepare for it. Maybe when you feel the pressured speech, you have something that interrupts it - maybe a grab for your phone? Anything that breaks the moment. I like to hit them with the pause, deep breath, wry self-knowing smile, and "So...the point, if I had one, is..."

Many of us are dealing with these same anxiety challenges

Sep 4, 2022 at 9:46pm

in these increasingly perilous times. Geo-scientists are saying the axis and rotation of our home Planet Earth are changing, and enviro-scientists are saying we are hitting the tipping point of global warming / polar ice cap melting etc. Historians report that remarkably ancient E. Indian Vedic scholars recorded knowledge of 12,000 year galactic frequency oscillations and we are now entering a galactic change. These written records are available via a net search. I suffer episodes of anxiety too but always find comfort in the teachings of my Ancestors who predicted these times and that regardless the challenges, we must simply not take things overly emotionally, nor dwell on personal drama, but simply hold fast to Truth, Beauty and Goodness and all will be good in the big picture because life is eternal. Do you remember our Grampa Chief Leonard George? His teachings are available on line, or will be shared by the Tsleil-Waututh Nation peoples in N. Van if you approach them with respect. They always lift my Spirit without fail. OCN

You're in the wrong city. This city only does chill, it's the land of the living dead really, do you overwhelm people here? I wonder if you moved to a more vibrant city, where people are more thoughtful and engaged, you would be normal?

Are all going from a young soul paradigm to a mature soul paradigm hence the difficulty of maturing.
Liken it from going from teenager to young adult.
The Earth is maturing as well.
Let's hope it doesn't decide to kick out the renters
