What’s Happening Today: Vancouver events for Monday, August 21

If you’re battling a bad case of the Mondays, we hear you, we feel you, we see you. But just because the nose is firmly back to the grindstone for another full week doesn’t mean that there isn’t still a lot of fun to be had out there in that big beautiful world—it’s just that we’ll have to wait until work’s done to revel in it. Yoga in the Forest
Join Artemis Calogeros for a hatha flow yoga class while looking out on to a beautiful temperate rainforest. Everyone is welcome, including beginners and those with limited flexibility.

Tiko Kerr and Otoniya J. Okot Bitek: if becomes when
A painter and poet join together to explore the art of collaboration. This multi-part installation derives from Tiko Kerr’s long-time interest in collage, informed by his practice as a painter, and includes a number of new pieces—including collaborations with poet Otoniya J. Okot Bitek.
