Updated: woman missing after arriving in Vancouver from Winnipeg has been located

      Update (March 22): Surrey RCMP announced that Kayla Smith has been located and is safe.

      A woman from Winnipeg has gone missing after she arrived in Vancouver last week.

      According to a Surrey RCMP news release, Kayla Amy Smith was last seen on February 24 when she left Winnipeg on a flight to Vancouver.

      She has had limited contact with her family since that time. She had been active on social media but has since stopped. Police and family members are concerned for her health and well-being.

      She is described as a 30-year-old white female who is 180 centimetres (five-feet, 11-inches) tall and weighs 70 kilograms (154 pounds). She has a medium build and blond hair.

      Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477.
