Surrey RCMP seek to identify two male suspects involved in robbery
Surrey investigators are seeking to identify two male suspects involved in a robbery of a convenience store in the City Centre area in May.
Around 7 p.m. on May 11, two male suspects entered a convenience store in the 12000 block of 82nd Avenue, according to a Surrey RCMP news release issued today (July 3).
One suspect brandished a handgun and stole several valuable items from the store.
The suspects then fled the scene by getting into a black four-door sedan driven by a third male. The vehicle headed east on 80th Avenue.
The first suspect is described as a white male in his 40s with a heavy build. At the time of the robbery, he had been wearing a black and yellow traffic vest, a grey Under Armour baseball cap, and sunglasses.
The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned male with a slim build who appeared to be about 25 years old. He was wearing a dark fisherman-style cap and a white and blue striped shirt.
Anyone who can help identify the suspects or has information is asked to contact Surrey RCMP or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers.
