Vancouver real estate: storage room at condo tower marketed as potential wine cellar sells for $60,000
The storage room measures over 200 square feet, but that is not all.
The space located at the parkade of a Vancouver condo tower also has its own water and power supply.
Moreover, the closet is temperature controlled.
It’s ideal for a private wine cellar, and that’s exactly an option mentioned in the listing for the stock room.
A photo of a wine cellar was included in the marketing material by The Residential Group Realty.
The realty agency also added an image of a walk-in closet as another potential use for the space.
“This is a blank canvas ready for your ideas,” the listing read.
The storage room was placed on the market on September 24, 2020 for $69,800.
On October 7, a buyer picked up the space for $60,000, according to tracking by real-estate site fisherly.com.
The storage room is at the Vancouver House, a condo project by Westbank.
The development features a curvy tower at the north end of Granville Bridge.
The option to buy the storage room was an exclusive offering for owners at Vancouver House.
