Australian indie-pop singer-songwriter Vance Joy has announced that he'll livestream an intimate, acoustic concert for fans in Canada and the U.S. this Friday (October 2) at 4 pm.

Joy explained how the livestream will work, and how fans can get involved, in an online message:

"While we’re in this continued isolation around the world, to connect with you all, I’m going to set up a little space at home, and do some small intimate acoustic shows.

"The shows will be limited in capacity to 1,000 tickets only. I’ll play a few songs, and there will be a host to run a Q&A. Each ticket will have the chance to vote in advance for the set list and the top 7 tracks voted for I’ll play for that show.

"You can also leave a question and we’ll curate a selection from the entries to flow with the show. Tickets are one per household, but you can purchase for a friend if you'd like and send their ticket on to them. Further details on how to access the show, vote for songs, and leave a question will be sent in an email alongside the ticket."
