The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the Crazy8s 2015 gala screening and party

      The Crazy8s Film Society presents the premiere of six award winning films at a gala screening on February 28. The screening starts at 7 p.m. at the Centre (777 Homer Street) and is followed by an after party at Science World (1455 Quebec Street) from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

      The films include Kindergarten: Da Bin Ich Wieder, One Last Ride, Outside the Lines, The Twisted Slipper, Under a Glass Moon, and The Wolf who Came to Dinner.

      The gala screening will be hosted by actor Diana Bang, who was last seen in The Interview, and Nelson Wong from American Mary.

      The after party will include a red carpet photo entrance, performances by Colleen Rennison and band No Sinner, as well as DJ sets by DJ Static of WEFUNK Radio and DJ Emilita.

      Tickets are $30 and available online or in person at Videomatica, Beat Street Records, and the Rio Theatre until February 27. On the day of the event, tickets will be available for $35 at the Centre box office starting at 1 p.m.
