It is taking all of the willpower I have left not to pursue my ex's best friend. But damn we would be so great together.

Couldn't you give more details?!
Are you a male or female?
Why would you be so great together?
Just because you consider him/her hot -or do you have a lot in common?

She knows EVERYTHING about you. Your ex has filled her in already on every one of your short comings and she probably hates you. If that's your idea of happiness, you need therapy.

S/he is interested in her/his ex's friend... so what you mean is s/he should talk to her/his ex first.

Why the hell not give it at least a try? if something works out, great, if not, at least you know you've tried.
it is completely puzzling why some people consider their friend's and sibling's exes to be off-limits. we live in a free society, no person has the right to control another person's love life. limiting who your ex goes out with is selfish and conceded, and it goes against everything any activist has ever fought. Martin Luther King did not say 'I have a dream, that one will have the right to control who one's ex dates'. life is not high school, grow the fuck up.
I agree.

I think Jennifer Aniston and I would make beautiful kids together. But wait a minute, I'd probably get in trouble for stalking her. Hopefully the same will happen to you or better yet, maybe your friend needs to knock some sense into you. I think he should use his pointy cowboy boots just to make sure you get the point!

I go by the rule of I won't date any of my exes' friends and I won't date any of my friends' exes
It just causes problems.
And I REALLY wouldn't want to date my ex's friends because then I would have to see that PEDO POS because of dating his friend.
