Wooooosh

Hear that? That was your chance with me rushing past. I'll be back in the wild wild east soon enough, traveling to amazing places with exotic women like James Bond in beach shorts, while you pretend you're happy commuting on the 99, molding in your rental apartment, caring for a toddler.

What a passive aggressive confession. Since you're so convinced you'll lead a better life than her, tell it to her face. Recite this entire post off memory to her face.

Oooof, you're fragile.

Sorry you're hurt. This empty threat makes you sound like a dick. Hope you feel better soon and this feeling subsides so you can stop sounding like such a butter asshole!

And I’m glad it’s in the distance because your alcoholism and manipulative bullshit and lies keep me from ever wanting to be stuck on a desert island with you. Bye!!

I can't tell...

... I am now in my mid 30s, no kids, no real expenses, I can do what I like. My friends with kids all seem "happy," but I put it in quotes because it seems like they don't have much choice in their circumstances, so there's no real sense in being anything but "happy," they're trapped, and even if they enjoy being trapped, it doesn't seem like any way to live.

You make your own decisions. Live with them.

When you

have been to the wild, wild East it is indeed so hard to come back and put up with the reality here. It's the Asian century, it's where the action is, where the fun is, where the money is and yes, they are creating the future there. I leave again in 6 weeks. Counting down the days. I am not so sure it's worth supporting the OP, given the 99 and toddler comments, but the pull of fun vs the boredom of rain, craft beer, craft coffee, high rent, frowns all around and the topper has to be gender wars...well, it's just evident that living here is not worth it.
