Just to follow-up, I am in lesbian who typically uses the term femsplain to my partner. Femsplaining is a thing too. Trust me.

It's not "this" word, it's "that" word. The other word is offensive. It's too much to the point and doesn't let me warm up to the fact I may not be perfect all the time.

Explain

Sometimes if you constantly feel like people are "explaining" things in a way other than you like, the problem may be the listening and not the talking. That doesn't account for assholes being assholes though.
