I'm sorry but they are all so cheesy. Those manufactured wedding photos, where you and your partner are gazing lovingly at each other with the most perfect smiles and makeup and lighting at sunset oh come on! Maybe I am just a grumpy cynic, but it just seems so fake to me! I mean what is that one, take number 15?

was where the bride and groom were posing on a beach at surf's edge, when a rogue wave came in and hit them, knocking the bride to her hands and knees.
The prize shot was the two of them roaring with laughter as the groom helped her to her feet. I'm guessing that's a marriage that's going to last.

If you have just promised to spend the next 50+ yrs with this person, and spent quite a lot on clothes, I think it's ok to mark the occasion with some nice pictures.
Yes!

When I got married I was *strongly* encountered to do specific poses the photographer thought were perfect. It was excruciating. Nothing that I wanted, completely opposite of my taste. But, I wasn’t truly a part of any of it. I went along with what my family expected. I’m long divorced and those memories and photos feel like someone else’s life.
