Brunch hotspot Yolks debuts new digs on East Hastings

We’ve probably all seen the line-ups around the corner of East Hastings and Clark Street, especially on weekend mornings.

That used to be Yolk’s Restaurant & Commissary’s first home (1298 East Hastings)—a little worn and torn, but very well-loved and popular among Vancouver’s brunch crowd.

On November 19, the breakfast food establishment officially closed the doors to its original spot.

Its new home is two blocks down the street (1598 East Hastings), and made its debut yesterday (November 29) to serve the first wave of customers in its shiny and spanking new location.

The interior was designed by local company Campos Studio, while the branding was done by Glasfurd & Walker (Mak N Ming, Botanist, Ask for Luigi).

Don’t worry about a complete menu overhaul though, you can still find long-time favourites like eggs benedict topped with real hollandaise sauce with a side of truffle lemon hashbrowns.

Yolk’s also operates a second location on West Broadway and a food truck.

      Classic eggs benny with hashbrowns.
