Mars will leave Aries for Taurus next week (on Valentine’s Day), but before he goes he’s on the brakes-come-off/strike-while-the-iron’s-hot/fast-track-it trajectory. Through the weekend, Mars moves through a pivotal intersection with the karmic axis (south node in Capricorn, north node in Cancer). Mars wants to cut through the red tape of the past—to stop being held up or dragged down by it—and to get on with living more fully in the present. Too much time has been spent on dealing with the old fires. We need to be free to fire up something fresh and new.

Mercury leaves Aquarius for Pisces on Sunday, but before it goes it is friending Uranus. Saturday is the best of the weekend for getting around, getting caught up, and getting a good jump on Valentine’s Day. The moon in Aries continues for most of Sunday. In the moment is your best play.

Due to next month’s retrograde, Mercury will be on an extended tour of Pisces through mid-April. This transit stirs plenty of potential, but it also keeps the fluidity and uncertainty going. Stay hopeful, open, and receptive, but keep your feet on the ground.

While you may have to push through to begin with, the second half of Saturday rocks, thanks to Mercury/Uranus and the moon in Aries boosting physical energy, activities, good ideas, and social synchronicity. On Sunday, Mercury treks into Pisces. It’s a put-your-feet-up/go-with-the-flow influence, but through mid–next week, Mars/Uranus keep it edgy. Wednesday, keep open-ended.
