Update (September 16): Chilliwack RCMP stated that Jean Pierre Baril has been located and is safe.

Police and friends are concerned about a 44-year-old man from the Fraser Valley who hasn’t been seen since last weekend.

According to Upper Fraser Valley RCMP, Jean Pierre Baril was last seen in Chilliwack on September 7.

He is described as a white male who is 183 centimetres (six-feet) tall and weighs 73 kilograms (161 pounds).

He has brown hair and brown eyes, and he also has a spider tattoo on his left hand and across his left forearm.
