I'm having the worst time dating here in vancouver

I'm 25 year old female who moved to vancouver from the suburbs about a year ago and I'm having the absolute worst time dating in vancouver. I've had some really disappointing experiences including guys lying to me. Recently, I've been seeing someone casually (which is totally fine with me) but even that's disappointing because I'm not really getting what I need sexually. I'm terrified of doing online dating and I just find it so hard to connect with guys in this city. I've heard it's hard to date in this city but I wasn't expecting it to be this rough.

You need to move back to the suburbs because all the men here have leprosy.
Yep. That's what the problem is.

That doesn't seem to end, join the rest of the single ladies. And trust me, it's not just the guys that are the problem. You women are certainly the issue as well..

dating is hard regardless of location. it's just a mixed bag of shit. you know, kind of like those surprise candy bags with a couple novel items you get tired of after a minute and only one candy you really like. that's what dating is.
that being said, it's a good way to figure out what you actually want and value in a relationship and out of a partner, what you want that relationship to look like. it's definitely a learning experience.
personally, I have found the best relationships are formed out of friendship. what I wish I would see more of in this city are friends kind of casually setting up their friends up with one another. doesn't that seem like a better probability of success than random online fucktards? I think so, but that's just me.
