If you really cheated, and if you really love them, you will let them go, and find someone that will love them enough not to cheat on them. You broke your marital contract vows. Contract is now null and void. It's not all about you, jerk.

Clearly you don't understand how confessions work. When you post a confession (as a male, or as a perceived male) you act as a surrogate for every asshole that ever hurt a woman. And most of the readers are female. So they down vote you, and then you try to explain your innocence after the fact, but it doesn't help you because everyone has already decided you are their evil ex, and by trying to ruin that fantasy all that happens is you earn more down votes.
