Isolation... How does this work?

Looking down from my Burnaby apartment (cel) and seeing construction workers eating lunch together/gathering at the bus stop every day this week. How does this all work if we are not all contributing? What is the urgency in finishing these high rises as no one is going to be able to afford them?

As the ape said to Charlton Heston at the end of the movie... "Don't look for answers, Taylor. You won't like what you find." Or something like that.

Construction workers are permitted
Rules don’t apply to construction industry

As we know, the social distancing rules are supposed to apply to the construction industry but I have also seen it not in action. The laws don’t seem to apply to this industry. However , we know the developers are in the pockets of politicians. We will close playing fields and schools before we close no hand hygiene available condo developments. We are not all in this together. From a health care worker

I watched a paramedic handle a geriatric guy with bare hands, just yesterday. What are you trying to tell me?

Sad but hilarious how the world opines on "climate change" while under their noses the construction industry is draining the world of sand, literally to make more and more concrete with.
I'll soon be dead which in itself is something to look forward to lol

Really? Because the paramedics that are handling my tenants are basically wearing hazmat suits.

I've got construction across the way from me and it's a similar story. No precautions, no social distancing.

Really? At our site we are lunching at different times and eating alone, working on separate floors, not carpooling, sanitising tools and handwashing at scheduled times and after specific tasks. Why wouldn't you just take the percausions?
