you had me at meow

A remarkable human being of a girl gave me a photo of her and I hugging each other at a music festival, beautifully parceled in a picture frame that says "you had me at meow". With it, a hand-written card professing with extraordinary love how much I meant to her, quirks and all. Now I'm absolutely alone, kicking myself in the ass for somehow managing to lose her and feck up something that I am most positive was/is a match made in heaven. And no, I never once cheated on her. I highly doubt that I'll ever be able to find anyone even close to the level of perfection that I found in her. People tell me to find someone else. I always bluntly say no, I'm not interested. Truth be told, I can't stop loving her, even though my actions are nothing to be proud of. Idiot much I am.

A sincere apology might do the trick. People tend to be forgiving, more often than not.
