Cowichan Valley-based Ampersand Distilling Co. has announced this year’s edition of its award-winning Imperative Dry Vermouth.

Taking home bronze-medal honours at the 2020 Canadian Artisan Spirit Competition, the vermouth starts with Ortega, Petite Milo, and Schonberger grapes. Wild-harvested wormwood from the family-run distillery’s farm is then added, along with ingredients including coriander, cardamom, roasted dandelion root, and orange peel.
